United Utilities awards £42m+ network and telephony contracts

United Utilities has awarded a number of framework contracts for network and telephony services with an estimated total value of £42.56 million.

The contracts, tendered in 6 Lots, cover the provision of an output based managed service agreement in respect of fixed telephony, wan and mobile telephony services, together with telephony infrastructure, cabling infrastructure and network break-fix.

Initial term for five of the Lots is for 5 years with an option to extend up to 2 additional years. For the network break-fix Lot, the initial term is for 3 years with an option to extend up to 4 additional years.

Contracts have been awarded as follows:

  • Vodafone Group PLC - Lot No: 1 - Lot A and B Fixed Telephony and WAN
  • IP Integration Ltd - Lot No: 2  - Lot D Telephony Infrastructure
  • INS Sudlows Ltd - Lot No: 3 - Lot E Cabling / Infrastructure
  • Intrinsic Technology Ltd - Lot No: 4 - Lot F Network Break Fix
